Marbert Rocel is like painting tattoos with water colors and playing jazz from both sides of the carrera race track while searching sounds with a touch of old super 8 movies.

Hailing from Manchester in the north of England, Trus'me grew up surrounded by the city's rich musical heritage. Northern Soul, Punk, New-Wave, Indie, House - Manchester was at the front of it all. His love for music started at an early age where he dabbled with various instruments before studying production. Like many music lovers, he was soon bitten by the vinyl bug and his focus shifted towards DJ'ing and digging for unique samples. As a DJ he plays with diversity, a style that comes across in his production work.
2008 is going to be a busy year for Trus'me. As his Prime Numbers imprint launches in collaboration with Fat City Recordings, providing an outlet for Trus'me and other likeminded artists. The labels first release featured Linkwood (who's also releasing an album in 2008), Napihedz and Reggie Dokes. The second 12" shows off more Linkwood and a Trus'me remix of Clyde. Trusme's second album will be released later this year featuring guest appearances from Amp Fiddler and Paul Randolph. He's also produced an exclusive track for Giles Peterson's "In The House" compilation on Defected, as well as working on various remix projects including LCD Soundsystem.
